Swiss Watch to Debut
Newly turned three year old SWISS WATCH makes his racetrack debut at Belmont Park this week. Another of the stock of the now deceased stallion DANETIME who is enjoying a good run of late, Swiss Watch is the first foal from the former Belhus owned mare Smooth Mover.
Like his mother (who won four races), Swiss Watch is prepared by Ascot trainer Paul Jordan. Paul has given the horse three trial starts and is very happy with his progress to date, cautioning however that he still has much to learn. It's a certainty that he'll benefit greatly from his first actual race experience, and we can confidently assume that he'll only improve on whatever he does on debut. Regular rider Paul King will take the ride.
