Girl in a Storm Wins at Ascot

Now THAT'S how you like them to win!

Our four year old Metal Storm mare Girl in a Storm put in a powerhouse performance at Ascot today when she led from start to finish in the class 6 fillies and mares race.

Jockey William Pike again demonstrated why he's so highly regarded in WA, when he jumped her smartly, eased over to the lead and dictated the pace, saving enough in the tank for his mount to kick away after straightening. It was a polished riding display, equalled only by trainer Michael Patemans effort of presenting Girl In A Storm in magnificent condition in the mounting enclosure enabling her to shine in the prelim.

The mare has now scored a hat trick of wins and we can't wait to run her on a Saturday!
