Encipher Unlucky in Debut

Our quality three year old gelding Encipher had little luck at his first start in a race when finishing unplaced at Ascot on Saturday.

The run is best overlooked however as he lost three lengths at the start, and was never able to get a run anywhere in the straight as jockey Troy Turner tried to make up cheap ground on the rails...the pair eventually finishing just 4 lengths from the winner.

I mention this run in the blogs column because I believe there's going to be value found with Encipher at his next run because of the 7 next to his name in the form ground. Stick with him if you backed him on Saturday and consider it as "money lent".
