Takeover Target Wins in Japan

Incredibly, the rags to riches story of trainer Joe Janiak and Takeover Target continued on when the horse took out the Group 1 Sprinters Stakes in Japan on the weekend. Ridden by his regular rider, Australian jockey Jay Ford, the pair led all the way against the cream of the World's short coursers. Takeover Target has now won over $3,500,000 and will now go to Shatin in an attempt to win the Hong Kong Sprint over 1000m on Dec 12th.
