Baron Orczy, our three year old gelding by Rory's Jester trained by Gai Waterhouse ran the race of his life at Rosehill on the weekend when finishing a game second to the outstanding Magnus.
They had to run a class record and run home in 33.71 to beat The Baron who has now earned six cheques from six starts.
Gai now wants to take him to Melbourne and give him a chance at taking out one of thier feaure short course events over the next month. He'll have a tune up to the Melbourne way of going by starting at Moonee Vallye next Friday night in a 1000m dash.
